- FONDURIT can be used for spot repair  by cutting in square , preparing the surface, and coating with  FONDURIT.

o How about FONDU joints?

- Joints should be cut every 5x5 m as soon as concrete hardens.

o Joint generally causes the Folk lift impact. As a result, for floor crack, is there a solution?

- Have to cut in a good shape.

o What is the difference between Freezing Concrete and FONDU

- Freezing Concrete is a normal ordinary Portland concrete adding Foaming Agent. Can be used in Cold room. It is also a high strength concrete that can resist in sub zero area and thermal shock but have to coat with Polyurethane. Freezing concrete can completely cure in 21-28 day

FONDU is an 40% alumina cement, can resist temperature from sub zero temperature up to 500 degree Celcius. FONDU can withstand temperature in Freezing room -40 degree Celcius especially in front of Cold room where thermal shock is required. It is a rapid setting cement that can be completely cure in 6 hours. FONDU can also be used in metal industries.

o What is the pH tolerance of the floor?

- FONDU is an alumina cement that has to be mixed with additional elements, like gravel, sand, admixtures, foaming liquids. On the other hand, FONDUR Premix does not need any additional mix. It is already composed with sand. Before using, only water is needed.

o How do you prepare the floor base before installation?

- For FONDU, chipping the existing floor, place the foam, and lay out the wiremesh. After, pour FONDU until you reach your required floor thickness.
- For FONDURIT, prepare the floor with a scarifying machine. Clean with high pressure water jet and after coating with FONDURIT.

o What makes SOLID FLOOR : PRIMEBASE different than other concrete floors?

- Most concrete floors require 5 cm toppings for higher strengths (240 ksc) and takes about 21 days to cure. PRIMEBASE reaches a strength of 400 ksc in only 3 days. It also doesn’t leave any cement dust.

o Will PRIMEBASE peel off from the existing concrete?

- No, PRIMEBASE has a strong bond to the concrete and will not peel off. Before applying PRIMEBASE, we have to scarify the existing floor horizontally and diagonally to about 3 mm deep. This will increase the grip of the concrete. Afterwards, we clean the floor with a high pressure water spray and then we can pour the PRIMEBASE topping.

o How strong is PRIMEBASE compared to other concrete floors?

- PRIMEBASE has a higher bonding and density than most concrete floors because it’s a polymer mortar. It is composed of cement, quartz sand and resin.

o How do you maintain the thickness of PRIMEBASE?

  • - You can control it by the volume or using the rake.

o How about the flatness of PRIMEBASE?

- As PRIMEBASE’s thickness is between 6 mm to 2 cm, the floor can be adjusted less than 5 mm every 3 m.

o What kind of texture does PRIMEBASE have?

o Will the color of the finish floor be different than the existing concrete floor?

    - The finish floor will be slightly darker than the existing floor.

o If repair in spot area, it will be peel off?

    - No, because we will also scarifying a surface 3 mm. depth , cleaning before surface coating.

o How are the joints cut after installing PRIMEBASE?

- That depends on the concrete floor and the existing structure. PRIMEBASE usually follow the same joint layout.
